The Ohio Valley Chapter has planned “Microplastics in the Environment: Current State of Science” for Sept. 19 at Meritage in Cincinnati. The evening event, which runs from 5-8pm, will feature P&G’s Kristin Connor, who noted that despite a growing list of literature, the environmental hazard of these particles is still relatively unknown. P&G researchers  reviewed the focus, scope and the methods of the literature in an effort to understand how this research may assist or distract from the ability of environmental risk assessors to evaluate microplastics.
